Tuesday- Figure Drawing at OCU- -Calance, anyone hear of them?

Had a good time drawing.
I have a recruiter named Calance wanting to work with me for a Graphic Designer job.
I just have my doubts about them. They seem big, semi legit.
But there is no info wiki on them I can find. And some poor reviews the only reviews I could find.
Balanced by good reviews that might be fake.
Anyone know of the company?
Giving this an url again. I didn't want to look up the previous post. Someone wants to see it.
Greg Martel. The caveman from Dinosaurus. I've decided Frazetta was using studies of his face for his Werewolf strip.

I hope my interaction with calance isn't bottom line stupid. I suppose I'm part of their stable now. If I get the job, I work for them, even though the work is done , on site, at Devon energy.

My money would be a check with Calance on it. Not Devon. It would be interesting to know the markup for the artist talent. How much they made vs how much I make.

Super long shot anyway. I still have the hurdle of my age. It is also only 6 months. For an employer, according to Glassdoor, notorious for very abrupt lay offs.

Is everyone getting this google highhandedness of "Please prove you're not a robot"

Someone disable that in settings if you can.

I have to switch to safari to see the stupid graphic.

Man I need a new computer.

You know what. I accidentally ignored the entry box and hit publish. Worked with out typing the text . I'll experiment with firefox

I'm getting the "Please prove you're not a robot". Let's see if this posts if I ignore the entry box.

It worked for me too. I didn't have to prove I'm not a robot.

I'll try another post with firefox without anti-robot entry.

Calance is probably an outfit that just shotguns applications on every job out there. 100 people applying for the same job with a relationship with them. They win often enough to make it worthwhile.

When I was out of work I talked to a couple of these sorts of agencies. It's somewhat institutionalized here... a lot of contract work for Microsoft for example. Microsoft doesn't have to worry about the headache of HR for these contractors and sometimes the agency can offer benefits to the contractors. They didn't find me any work, but I still hear from them from time to time, mostly looking for concept artists for 3-6 months.

Sure looks like him, doesn't it?

Donosaurus. Starring The Donald. I'll change that so no one knows what I'm talking about.

The actor Greg Martel is the best part of Dinosaurus. His improv, expressive face. Most entertaining stuff in the movie.

I would be interested in Frazetta's swipe file. How extensive it might have been.
