That's the way you get the 10000 hours to mastery. I like the betty boop princess.
Go ahead and review the movie. I haven't seen a single one of the Hobbit movies. When the reviews always say "Way too long." "Padded." I don't go. Of course I don't go to anything anymore. The only guaranteed movie I'm seeing in the theatre , day one, is George Miller back for Mad Max-Fury Road.
It's OVER.....That's all I'm saying about it. When the Extended version comes out next year. I'll judge but I will say it just seems like Jackson to just wanted to get it over with.
One thing most people can seem to understand and keep saying it's not like the book blah, blah, blah. It's that the Hobbit is a small chapter in the "overall" story of middle earth and the War of the Ring and wasn't really fleshed out by Tolkien until LOTR and in found in it's appendices.
Jackson has a habit of over indulgence. The King Kong movie is a great example of that... did we need the dinosaur stampede? Did it improve the movie at all? How about the bug canyon... that was something that was designed for the original movie but was left out, and with good reason... it adds nothing and just changes the pace of the movie. I feel the same way about what I've seen so far in the 1st 2 hobbit movies.
Things like the Donkey Kong barrel chase down the river was visually TOO MUCH. Especially with Legolas jumping all over the place. That was going too far.
