Looking good, sir!

Looks cool. The symmetry is obviously something you're going to like anyway. Did you buy the Frenden brushes

I think also the directness of being in ink is good for you. You're using a lot of lost line instead of noodling line. What is left is much stronger. I think you're going places .

Yes, Rick sent me the link.

The symmetry ruler is perfect for my designs

I agree with everyone. So I won't restate it here. Keep pushing, Jim!

Just an FYI Manga Studio 5 is a COMPLETE overhaul from 4. Looks more like Photoshop now.

I'm using ex4. I guess I'm left out.

JMG said...

I have both. EX4 is different from 5

I got MS4 on sale and I liked it well enough, but Jim is right... 5 was a substantial overhaul.

Kind of a drag I think by doing that. Lots of what I find in EX4 more intuitive, yet 5 just messes all that up. It a new program altogether. It has a major paint function now but the stuff I like in EX4 is so radically altered it's annoying. I'll stick to EX4 for now until I figure it all out, then I'll move on to 5. Hell, I got them super cheap too. I paid far less for 5 that EX4. Go figure.

I've had the same photoshop for so long they are now GIVING IT AWAY. PS2.
Someone tweeted a link to where to get it free.
But like my old photoshop, there are things I probably don't need in 5. Other than all those brushes Frenden is churning out that only work with 5.
I was thinking that I'll probably do a hybrid anyway. Just do my lines, panel balloons in manga studio. Generate a nice high rez bw bitmap and take that into photoshop.
