I love the crackle. I remember being fascinated by that effect since about 7th grade. I wanted to put it in all my drawings. What kind of experiment were you conducting in crackle-omics?
I made a brush in photoshop. Without studying Kirby's crackle. I'll do a new one today, a crackle based on looking at a Kirby example, try my hand at a Kirby monster and post it to my new blog and here. http://cosmiccrackle.blogspot.com/

That's the knob.
Latin is Frons de Knobbe
