3:49 AM. Very nice work. You're getting quite a book together. I question some of the floppy peak cap folds. Upper right specifically. Maybe just too foldy. Push a straight side opposite a floppy side.
I like the middle , bottom figure best. Think of something for them to be doing.

Thanks but don't sweat the hats. It was intentional and 3am to boot. I let the pencil lead me. It's the idea that interest me at this point, not the accuracy, I'm just experimenting on things to suit me. I can refine specifics later. Which I've been working on as well.

I love the saucy grin from the girl at the lower left---and how about that sagging self-confidence from the big profile on the upper left--great personality! Looking veeeerrry nice!

I've always liked your headwear designs ... very creative ... but those shoulder coverings (armor?) really caught my eye. They're wonderfully interesting!

Thanks, the skull pauldron is not very accurate but something I've been playing around with as a standard of some kind. Need to develop it more as well as a front gardbrace. All designs in progress. I need to break out my armor books for inspiration been winging it too much but I like just going where my imagination takes me sitting on the sofa early in the am. As for personality on the faces, I just did it. Seem to be appropriate at that moment or how I was feeling then. But it gives me something more to think on.

I wish my scanner would pick up more of the subtlety in the color pencil and dropping the rez doesn't help.

Very nice group of sketches. I like the look the color pencils give your sketches (it blue and red over graphite, isn't it?).

I've had trouble when I scan color pencil or crayon and usually have to adjust it in photoshop.

Thanks Deane,

Was wondering where ya been. I usually rough sketch with the vermilion then go over with the Blue and then add the graphite hb or 2b pencil last. The color pencil can be waxy in spots but I'm still learning the in's and out's of that pencil as to what works.

I really want to work with my color pencils (I've put them out where I can see them) but there are other projects I have to work on first.

In the meantime I enjoy seeing the artwork you and others have posted. It's inspiring.
