Lovin' those toes!I feel nerdy now that I get the star trek jokes...ahhh!
At least it's not AMOK time ... heh heh ... that's my homage to Trek nerdiness ...
What usually happens in this sort of situation is that the duplicate Spock is such an excellent copy that they will need to fight in order to determine which one is the REAL Spock. Finally, the Real Spock will insist that the captain shoot BOTH Spock in order to insure the safety of the Enterprise bla bla bla...
I'm honored to be the subject of your drawings any time Marty, especially since I look a lot better in your drawing than real life. Look at those mighty pecs and lats!
I think that Rick's comment is ... very ... logical. But in keeping with my former post (and all the little posts below it), the TAG Kirk, Scotty Buncake, would have to show up at the Con to kill both Spocks (actually, it looks like the plural of Spock in Rick's post above is still Spock ... which means that offspring of Spock would be Spocklings ...). Defuse the situation by saying, "Is that a phaser in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?
Both are in the throes of ParFon, a much more dangerous compunction than FonPar.
Wait, isn't it Pon'far?
I was testing you.Actually i looked it up first and still got it wrong
I have NO idea what you guys are talking about.
Marty. The salmon like compulsion that comes over a Vulcan to mate is called Pon'far. From the story Amok Time. If there is a conflict over the woman it has to be settled with a weird, half pugil stick, half razor sharp axe head weapon. A double hand grip, hammer blow is about the only thing that can save you in a fight with a Vulcan experiencing Pon'far
I remember that one now! Thanks for the fighting tips, Ellis--but if the Vulcan is TOM MOON, YOU STAND NO CHANCE against his Pon'far rage (are you listening, Capt. Tiberius Benefield?).
I think "Tiberius" Buncake must be off seducing green skinned alien women ... or sketching them (much to their exasperated frustration) ...
OMG PON FAR! That was a "hot" episode. Hwa, hwa, hwa!
