WIP on the Role Playing art- Interrupted by storyboard work

I'm working on this.
I've tabled the MsValkyrie while the writer catches up on paypal and scripting.
While I'm working on this, I get a call from someone repping Bully Pictures. Very legit commercial advertising outfit based in LA to do some storyboards in downtown OKC tomorrow.
I said I'd bill 25 an hour. Probably way lowballed but 3 times what I make at Avis.

I hope I have the energy to get both these colored after work tomorrow. Glad to have the drawing done.

What can I say. They both suck. Need to calibrate that cintiq badly. But it's mainly not having good instincts in general for color.
The deadline loomed, had to send it through.

That is great news about yr board gig--it's catching!!!!! Knock em dead. ps don't sweat yr rate I'm only getting 2x's that for a 24/7Silicon Valley gig with all sorts of inconveniences which forces em to pay tip-top. Pro'ly dang good fer OK

Made 270.00. The boards looked pretty fair- 33 images- paid for 10 hours work but work didn't begin in earnest until about 2,5 hours of hanging around. I'll post them on moldbreaker blogspot.

And they fed me twice.

To show you how legit they are, this is the guy I worked with
Watch Chivas SEEKING and T-Mobile- HUGGING
Hugging is just great misdirection. He showed a making of type of thing. Those people are positioned all over just out of sight.

One of their stable of directors did The Imitation Game. Good friend of Callingard. I was told the movie of Tyldum to definitely watch was Headhunters.

The too high rez version. 300 dpi wont't work in lightbox mode. I'll derez them a bit later.

Like the storyboard work. It sounds encouraging, you have to stop your drawing work to do more drawing work. The top pic on this post looks kind of tight for you. The bottom pic, however, is a nice breakdown. Everything is there and it is still loose. Another artist could ink and finish that as is with just a little embellishment.

Ben, the Dwarf Assassin is too tight in all the wrong ways. Bad silhouette, bad acting. But it's what they'll get for this one.
40 bucks apiece.
Fun way to make what I make shuttling cars all day for Avis. Actually more. I make about 64 bucks a day for Avis.

LOVE the falling guy... great all around (all round? allround?) image.

I like the final product Ellis, colors included.

Thanks Tom. I should just start over on the Dwarf. It's worth about 40 bucks so I'm done.

The next female dwarf assassin! That will be the one.
