Cool as a sculpture pushing the grotesque-real from cartoon design.
Popeye is a pipestem if you wanted to push the design. Even wiriness would be pushing it beyond the design. I guess it's not too much to suggest he likes a tat or two. Got the anchors on the forearms.
The leather fetish looking studded pants are the worst part.
All in all, pretty cool I think, but yeah, he should have sailor bellbottom pants on. We usually think only of giant forearms with Popeye, but actually he has giant calves that match his forearms as well.
