Poor Man's Z-Brush- Sculptris

I'm going to try to do a caricature with the tool this weekend. This was just dabbling, getting to know it. Very unsophisticated and ugly. But taught me how simple and straight forward it is.
In case anyone else wants to download it. Small program. Lots of fun.

Second attempt. This time with a pushed around ball instead of a generic head , head-start.

That is an awesome sculpt, Ellis. And Sculptris is a great program. The Zbrush folks bought it years ago and to their credit, kept it free. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

This was just doing pushing and pulling and smoothing, getting to know a little of the interface. Sometime this morning I'll read some of the help, learn about the generic starter models, whether I want my own or not, etc.
Fairly instant learning curve for anyone that has used z brush.

I'm wondering about the model, if it has teeth or loops on a closed mouth. Also wondering what my revised Kong avatar looks like.

That might make a good project. Do a Kong. Not a gorilla. A Kong

Very fun stuff. It's funny, the first head almost has a bit of the self-portrait about it...? Maybe that is a welcome byproduct of the fact that your own Ellis head is so close the golden mean of an "idealized" head.

The chin tendrils on the second head are truly disturbing.

And YES to the Kong avatar!
