Heritage Downloads

Kinda pointless to share these in this way. Since the reason I saved the originals wascoz they're HUGE high rez. Maybe some of that detail will be visible in the largest size that Blogspot allows. The detail on the Buscema was interesting for how much white correction tape went down in the middle of the Black Panther inking. These really are objects of art with the clock ticking on them. Wasp is a paste up. 5 , 10 years from now. Someone will say "Hey, wasn't Wasp in that drawing." She will have flown away , who knows where. And the huge Jack Davis watercolor drawings are amazing. Found this great Kirby. The worm with the rotary chiclet teeth Drawing I'm doing with Ebay in mind

Well, even when you click view image, you'll be at almost half the rez of my original, 2000 px wide download. Does make a difference.

I'm suffering trying to finish this sketchbook...suffering! Don't know if they'll get it printed in time for Seattle. But I'm trying!

What's really annoying about that sketch, I hated the paper. I bought a ream of index card stock. I'm thinking as I work on it, "This has too much Damn tooth. It's not what I thought index card meant." Then I flipped it over. Nice, smooth, no tooth. Pencil felt just right, solid lines like butter on the PROPER side. Live and learn. Grrr.

I just seriously applied for a job in Vancouver. Why not. Me and a toothbrush now that I got all my junk safely stored in OKC.
What's left of my junk. I need to youtube the videos of my sickening "donations" to the library.
Some of the close ups on those titles dumped in the loading bay will make you weep. Or laugh. Depending on your favorite Beatle.

Love watching the development of your sketch Ellis. That's a lightsabre in his hand isn't it? And the creature is great, scary yet slightly humorous. The perfect example of your own unique approach to Frazetta-type subject matter.

Thanks Tom. You're right. Gotta do about 3 of these a week. Just draw like I draw and not over think it.

I may use that phrase "That's a lightsabre in his hand, isn't it?" to tease traffic to Ebay from twitter.

Yeah, we're almost 60 Ellis! I think we've earned the right to be ourselves!

You got that right Tom. High time.

Yeah, I like your drawings better than all the others!

Vancouver BC or WA?

Nerd Corps- BC

First glance I thought the job would be in Toronto. Much less enthused about Toronto.

Okay, I checked these guys out... they look cool. Vancouver is a great town... we get up there a couple of times a year. Love it up there. It would be grand to have you so close! It's about a 2 hour drive from here.
Do you have an up to date passport?
Which position are you looking at... they have a lot of art jobs open.

I do not have a passport. Never had one. Guess I ought to do that
