S.o.S - Son of Sasquatch

Who knew Bigfoot had such a superheroic paternal streak? I never saw this when I was a kid. I'm sure I would have loved it though.

I found a full episode on YouTube and the show is horrible (almost in a good way). The premise is Bigfoot and Wildboy fight a vampire girl sealed in a cave in... Colorado. It's about as goofy and lame as it sounds. Bigfoot speaks, but it's in the Frankenstein "arrgh-arr-Wildboy-arr!" manner ("Fire Bad!")

I take back my earlier statement about loving this as a kid. I would've been interested at first, but would have quickly lost interest.

Thanks for the heads up Ronnie. I'm going to watch that on youtube. It llooks like it was shot in my old neighbourhood of Corriganville in Simi Valley.
Looks like that old show on the Banana Splits Hour. Danger Island or something like that

This was one of the last Sid & Marty Krofft shows produced in the late 70's (77-79). Aired on ABC as part of the Krofft Supershow.

Krofft Supershow:
Kaptain Kool and the Kongs (Superchick, Nashville, Turkey, and for the first season, Flatbush) were a colorful rock band who acted as hosts of this weekly show. Besides introducing the various shows, Kaptain Kool and the Kongs would performs songs and participate in various skits. The first season featured episodes of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, Dr. Shrinker, Wonderbug and for a short time, Lost Saucer reruns. During the second season, only Wonderbug stayed and Magic Mongo and Bigfoot and Wildboy were added.
