Marty. I realized it's dumb to create a high rez thing you then scale down and turn into a blue line. This should be plenty large at 150 dpi.
Since you're hopefully just re-drawing what you see. Not following the lines so much as the shading.
Makes it easy on me.

Marty just shared that he wants these looser. I want them looser as well. This is a good exercise.
My ambition would be to make myself happy with "finished " art that looks like Ashley Wood.
A guy coming from oil painting with big brushes understands it's not the details we love

These are looking incredible Ellis. Marty is doing us all a favor by motivating you into production mode.
In your post you wrote, "I realized it's dumb...."
Ellis, you're never dumb.
Irrascible, yeuz--but never dumb.
Did you hear about the new John Wayne biography out in hardback? Getting raves. I just bought a copy. Might try to crack it on the plane to Virginia.
Oh, and the drawing is great fun!
As the Hawaiians say: "Hang loose!"
...and the gal on top of the coach looks so good!!
Thanks Marty. That John Wayne book sounds great. James Caan was talking about how important John Wayne was to getting his acting chops in gear. Being around Wayne was really good "Movie Star" practice for everyone that worked with him.
Correct that girl's bow for me.
Correct all of it.
Enjoy the VA trip.
That Lion man toy is very slick.
