Bad news. I feel very connected to Bernie Wrightson.

Hope he gets better and that his abilities aren't altered.

A fit of scanning

I'm scanning all the "Creeple" stuff I have in the hopes of putting together a sketchbook.  This rather fishy looking drawing is just one of a bunch I've already scanned, and I know I have tons more.

In other news, next weekend we are helping Denise relocate to Cal Tech via a train ride from Seattle to CA.  We won't have tons of time so we probably won't get out of Pasadena (and we are focused on spending as much time as possible with Denise), but future trips down will probably include visits with all sorts of S. CA friends.

 So worn out. So much left to do. Roger Robinson is coming over tomorrow to help. Hopefully I will be able to get all this done by Sat morning

Here I have Tom Moon's wisdom on creating work from well executed pieces and I'm still plodding along tracing things up from a page layout. I'll start fresh if I ever get this done. I want to finish this and send it along with the writer to San Diego Comic Con

I did a search, ellis goodson art, got lots of hits that take me to miscellaneous ebay stuff that always interests me.
One creature sketch intrigued me and it took me to this TAG archive of glory. Marty-Jeff-Dok- active and smoking with the contributions to the blog.

 I did this drawing at Sooner Con, based on the fellow pictured. I had already done his 5? year old son as Superman. So later he wants me to do him. I take a ref photo and I think tear it up on the likeness.

His reaction, "I'll tell people it's supposed to be me."

I suffer every day for the art.

Life sucks.....looks like I'm bugging out sooner

Dad has taken a turn for the worse. Busting my ass to leave this coming weekend. The stress alone is going to kill me.


UPDATE: Now my Mom was taken to the Hospital last night via ambulance .....this is unbeleavable

Comics Alliance discovery!

Click Here to see that my Monsters and Dames drawing was previewed on the Comics Alliance website.  I didn't even know about this until just now!  Kinda cool.

BTW, I have a game that I've been working on for about a month now and we are nearly done with it.  I'm really looking forward to sharing what we came up with.  I've made every single piece of art in the game and it's been a blast to work on.  It's a pretty simple game and the art is mostly a bunch of digital paintings.  I'll keep you posted about it.
