add or subtract 180 on hue for perfect complement.

add or take away 180. This is the link where I learned the cool tip

felt a much greater comfort picking colors doing this doodle enhancement.
It would be nice to time travel back to the early 60s with photoshop.
cropped
some great skin tones from Loni Anderson.
this approach of sampling a color and getting its exact complement, then staying in that exact color wheel degree setting for other color picks, works pretty well.
matte painting type of work using discrete color picks
Trying to make the gold work it became unnatural. If I had good color picks in the room for gold maybe I could pull it off.

Are you saying these are the results of making a Reilly method premade pallette?

Using little swatchs that are made based on complements. Not really building the orderly Reilly palettes yet. I'll maybe do that for the next freelance job.

I aslo figured out not to fight my art having the swatches in another layer when my art is finished size. The fire maiden painting shows the new thinking. Make your canvas lasrger while you're painting. Stick the swatches in the null zone.

Fun to animate the Goldfinger robot with the mouse wheel.
