Little Change of Pace for EnWorld.

All these characters and IPs are owned by Rebellion.
Here's a page where the art is first showing up.
But revisions will come along next week.
The current level of finish above.
Approval line art
Early rough
And some miscellaneous judge character types.
It was fun. I got better on the Dredd bling as I went.
Never got completely good at it.

Nice work. Exciting. I think of the individual characters the larger woman is the most interesting.

Thanks guys. The Comic Fest photos I've seen make me wish I had made it. That's a con the way it should be. Hope it made all parties happy so they continue. What's the deal with going back to Frankenstein next time?

200th anniversary of the publishing of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.

I heard the parties were fun. I didn't go to any. One rich guy had a private party in a room behind the restaurant. His name is Anthony Keith and he sometimes shows up at meetings. Does anybody know who he is?

Matt Dunford is the new chairman of the Fest. Does anybody know him? Can't discuss him on a public forum.

Mike Towry needed overflow dealer space in Artist Alley and placed Donna Barr and Roberta Gregory with us. Out of place but very interesting.

New venue worked great.

Great spot. I checked the location. I worked for a very short time in the Building 1400 feet east of the hotel. My next to last Defense Contractor Artist job. I don't remember the name of the outfit. I think the sequence was I went there after Allan Corp on N Island. Then I went to Top Gun. Then I went to Leland Corp and started the game career. And the game career circled back to Aero Drive when i started with Blue Sky. They had a small office right down the road on Aero on Murphy Canyon Rd next to the 15. Tom worked there because I remember him using the gym we had right next door. It was a cool little spot. Then Ben Herrara, Me, Scott Benefiel and Ken Meyer jr shared rent on studio space a couple of years later on Aero after Blue Sky moved. I'd love to stay at that hotel during the con. It would be a fun bit of nostalgia.

Latest update on the Rebellion Judge Dredd cover....REJECT. En World will pay me but it won't be the cover. They'll get it done with a new artist. The art may be used on the inside. Hopefully they use the 4 characters.

I told the art director for enworld that I worked in games. I've seen years of artwork not used.
