Done as I watched 7 Faces of Dr Lao

Finished by the time Merlin hit the stage.
Halfway point.
The file the author Jeff Provine gave me me as a starting point.
It helps a lot to have that going on in collaboration.
If someone wants to have their stories illustrated, what do they see. You don't want to disappoint.
A bot Marty liked. I'll eventually gang post all of March of the Robots on my other blog and post the link later.

What's the story behind this piece? Really like the brushy textures in this one.

I'll just cit and paste the story. They're all short. I'll also post the photo I was given as a goal for creepiness.

The Window

She yawned and finished pulling on her owl pajama pants. It had been a long day. Three classes, barely making the cafeteria before it closed, and now her sociology paper sat half-finished on her laptop. It would have to wait until tomorrow.
She flipped off the light. In the dark, the glare reflecting on the window vanished, and the face appeared.
It gawped at her. Its mouth hung slightly open to the side with a bent jaw. Its nose was pinched and low. The eyes, huge and shining in the dark, stared under twisted brows.
She screamed. The face shuddered, but it did not look away. The bald, misshapen head just kept staring.
She tore the door to her room open and slammed it behind her. There, catching her breath as she gripped the doorknob, she realized: her room was on the eighth floor.

I think the reference creep's vacant stare is creepier than my pointed menace.

So great! Love that 7 Faces movie...wanted to draw from that for a long time. Good on you Goodson for getting more work!

Sorry I've been absent--just too overwhelmed with pretending to be a teacher.

Ellis post yr robot-in-a-tree drawing. That one is peaches!!

Thanks Marty. You being a teacher is perfect. You are a plugged in type and young people are a natural receptor for that engaged level of teacher. I enjoyed what teaching drew out of me. Pure love. Seriously. I loved all those kids. But hated that so many of them would never make it if they continued with current levels of ability and drive.

7 faces is great storytelling timing. I always think I want to see George Pal's Atlantis , The Lost Continent when I see the footage of Dr Lao's presentation of the past apocalypse. Pal inserted all the footage from Atlantis blowing up.
