Getting ready for the new Star Wars? Your robots are always cool.
The question is "Is Star Wars ready for my indifference?" Will I disrupt The Force by waiting a year until it comes out on Netflix. Quite possibly.
If Lucas oversees it and has story input- expect clotted up bad story telling. Characters with odd names that after they are introduced and ditched you mentally cringe at the idea it might be important to remember their importance in the story.
Jar Jar was not an anomaly. He was just a concentrated distillate of Lucas cardboard myth building.
