Huzzahs go out to Tom Carroll for the edit assist on this Cork. I fixed it per his suggestion and now it feels funnier... well, if not funnier in your mind, then hopefully better paced!

Right ... here I am redesigning the strip (again??). I would think it more effective if the 3nd to last panel was broken in two. That way it might be possible to do a reveal on the answer, as in:
Top Panel: Two ...
Bottom Panel ... tentacles ...
Just a minor case of redesign-itis on my part. Joke works fine as is.

Hmm, not bad Tom. I like it, although I don't have much room left for another shot. It might take some pain in the ass photoshopping...
... actually I just looked at it again and I could keep everything the same, just put Sam's 'how many fingers' question in panel two and start Cork's 'Two...' in the next panel. Hmmm, I think that'll work better. Good work ol' what's your name.

Nice suggestion Tom. It does work better. Great job Scott. Not everyone is willing to take that extra bit of time and trouble to re-do something just to make it a little better.
