New Wave Chicks


I don't like this contemporary style of drawing...and yet, it's how my drawings keep coming out. It's maddening! (Bodies come from photo reference--which is probably the problem--but heads are invented...I am trying to get better at fabric and feet....and girls.)

Ellis, I love yr sheet of thumbnails. Dammit, I been on tenderhooks awaiting yr Tuesday installment--give, man, give!

Not direct ink. A departure. I dig it. I like the idea the heads are invented.

I noticed you called the thumbnails "my" thumbnails. They're mine to the extent that I found them. They're for some strip called Thunderbolts. Not my work. They were just of an obvious quality to aspire to . I believe Scott Morse tweeted the link that led me to them.
