And what are the benefits of a Deviant Art portfolio?
It allows you to have a free domain name, (plus the extra deviant art wordage.) Free.
It forces KISS thinking on you that you might not do surrounding yourself with photoshop, dreamweaver etc. Free.
Mainly it's free. It's also easy.
It's a web address with your art. Quickly editable.
Deviant Art is a good place to just have a bunch of images that you want to share with other artists/friends. It's not a very professional portfolio presentation, though. I think Wix is much nicer and it's just as free.
Actually, I just had a look are your Deviant page and I take back what I said... that looks great! I was thinking of all the Deviant art pages I've seen in the past that are their standard grey pages with all the other crap they would add to it. This looks very clean and straight forward to use. NICE.
Thanks Rick. It's the In-N-Out choices of the interface. Not much to it. But like the doc I'm watching now,
JIRO DREAMS OF SUSHI, this world expert sushi chef makes the simplest of prepared foods. Never complicates the prep. Fresh, clean , basic. 300 bucks to grab a bite.
Opened up one for me. Need to load stuff. I do like the KISS aspect. The regular DA page just sucks
