San Diego Comics Fest 2016...?
They asked me to do the program cover this year. Said it was dedicated to Forrest J. Ackerman. Only vaguely knew of him before hand, but once I learned he was the Famous Monsters of Filmland guy, this vision came to me and I knew I had to pull out all the stops (in my mind honoring Basil Gogos, too).
All marker with Photo Shop tuning....ran out of time to really finesse Ackerman's head. I'm only attending Sunday, sadly...but then, hardly any of you, my T.A.G. brethren will be in attendance. For shame!

Man. That is going to get a lot of hits on Tumblr. Tag it up good. Leave no pop culture name from the 60s and 70s out. Marty Davis, cover artist. The Gogos ref is apt. Make that a tag as well. Every character in there gets a Tag. Boris, Vampira ( even though it's Burton's girlfriend Vampira-so Tim Burton is a Tag) King Kong. Curse of the Demon. Godzilla-Dracula-Wolfman-Gollum-Mr Hyde- I'm helping you out with all the typing. I need to get to work on my stuff. I'm inspired now.
London after Midnight- Tor Johnson- Ed Wood- The Creature from the Black Lagoon- The Mummy-Hands Of Orlac- Peter Lorre. How can you not know anything about Forrey Ackerman.

Faye Wray- Frankenstein- Dr Frankenstein. Any specific movie being referenced with Karloff putting on gloves?
