I'll watch it on the internet via podcasts and youtubes.
Superboy, chewing a wheatstalk. Those are the DC s I grew up with.
Meeee too!
My step-mother-in-law has been trying to wrangle me into shepherding her two thirteen year-olds to the S.D. Con.
Normally I'm a generous one with the kids, but this one's an emphatic "Nein!"
Good luck, brother Tom.
Brian and I went last year and had a lot of fun taking his son, my grandson, six-year-old Nicholas. It was his first Comic-Con. He loved the giant troll statues from the Hobbit and anything having to do with zombies.
Wheat stalks... Do you think Superboy grew up in Kansas? Or maybe Oklahoma?
I think it's Kansas. That seemed to be where the movie set itself. Smallville, Kansas. If he had landed in Oklahoma it would have been a coin toss that he was raised on an Indian reservation. He would have given the United States back to the Red Man.
Ellis, that is hilarious!
You've just written the log-line for DC's next great stand-alone Superman graphic novel. Much more interesting than that old Cold War saw horse they keep wheeling out every few years....
Marty. Being in charge of 13 year olds at the Con. Arrgh!
Of course that is the best age for it.
When I was growing up you could have turned that age group loose and not worried about it too much. Now it'd be constant supervision.
you'd see guys like this
