It was there I saw my first reaction by an animal to earthquakes. Walking up to the steps of the apartment, Max was sitting halfway up the stairs, watching me. The quake hit, the cat took off like it was hit with a steam hose. Had to put out flyers for it. Took a week to get it back.
Yes. We moved to Normal Heights. Went to a few Ken movies together. Where Max died from a hit and run. Then she released me at Horton Plaza. Came to visit when I had my lung collapse. Used to send my Mom Christmas cards for a time. Longest stretch of love life.
