New Beekeeping and Quilting, Too ...
To get the best viewing aspect ratio, click on the title link above.
On beekeeping basics, Tom Moon's comments got noticed ... Beekeeping insets and cutaways are now included.
My second effort. Much livelier and there is a reverse angle (two cameras simultaneously) on the sewing part.

Very nice Tom. I think all the compositing on the bee tutorial adds a lot of interest.
The quilting was also great. You really captured a lot of personality. The "Mr Donna" Bon Appetit part made me laugh. Very funny. You got skills. It maybe time to think ad work vs games. Two good portfolio pieces.
Thanks, Ellis. I've added this to my existing porfolio and am working on getting noticed.
I did edit your html on your post to achieve the no-crop look
I love the changes you have made to the beekeeping video Tom. I especially like it when the inset goes to full screen. I think they all should do that, really. No point in dwelling on the speaker's face; the voiceover works quite well.
I also love the "Bon appetit" part in the quilting video. The woman is a natural actor; warm and enthusiastic. But I feel there is a need for an introduction of some kind. I don't understand why the things she is doing are special, and a short talk on quilting in general would make this film of greater interest to the general public.
It's very smart to do this sort of thing Tom. I also saw your action letter piece starring yourself.
You're following the main edict of success. Make Stuff.
Is the library where you get all cameras and computers? Or do you use your home computer?
You already have the makings of a deep cable show here.
I'll keep plugging away, Ellis. The LibraryYOU program is done out of a small studio I set up at the library. Two Canon Vixia cameras, one iPad2, two iMac computers with iMovie software. Tripods and lights and stuff. It's really easy to make movies that look reasonably good these days. This is my part time job and I'm making the most of it. Thanks for all the comments.
Was that library equipment or equipment that you got a budget for. Those Vixia cameras look very reasonable. Thanks for the run down on inventory.
