So far, Rick's Chocolate Pecan Pie will grace the pages of WHIP! CRACK!! FRAPPE!!! The Comicbook Creator Cookbook ... but it wants TAG mates to go in with it.
Other pros with recipes in (by alpha sort): Johnny Beware, Jay Bradley, Wendy Broome, Gene Colan, Tony DeZuniga, Dave Dorman, Craig Elliot, Joel Eriksson, Geoff Klock, Christopher Moeller, Rick Schmitz, Frank Silas, Joel Vollmer, and Len Wein. More recipes expected any minute, including one from Clydene Nee (of Artists' Alley Admin fame).
Still plenty of room for TAG folk. I've personally invited Brent, but I think he checks his email about as often as Marty posts these days. C'mon, guys. Ellis, Beata, Kali, K-Zilla ... Even Chino D.? And Scotty, what exactly IS the recipe for Bun Cake, anyway? A quarter of the swag goes to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund ... A great way to publicize your work, your blog, your ... whatever.

Ah! Thanks ...
Oh ... and Mark Evanier is getting set to send a recipe. I wonder what it is.
I'm not a professional in the comics industry but could come up with a recipe if you still need some.
sure! Send it to tcarroll at rockstarsd.com. The more the merrier!!
Today's been a good day. Neil Gaiman is in. P. Craig Russell is checking to see how he has modified his mom's meatloaf recipe so he can write it down for the book. And Gene Colan sent his "Roasted 'Gene' Beans" ... yum.
Wisk to complete stirred state 1 egg in small paper bowl
Microwave egg 1 min 11 seconds in the same paper bowl
Add egg to one medium flour tortilla. Cut egg in half and layer the egg across diameter of the tortilla.
Add two tablespoons of medium tostita salsa.
Add one slice of Hormel smoked ham sandwich meat. Tear into chunks and position evenly.
Wrap tortilla around contents and wrap tortilla in aluminum foil.
Cook in toaster oven for 5 minutes or until you smoke alarm goes off..
Voila. Breakfast Burrito. Cleanse the palette with a grapefruit, no sugar.
you rock, Ellis. My son, Nathaniel, would want to toast it until after the smoke alarm goes off, so there ya go.
Thanks so much!!!
I emailed R. Crumb and Richard Corben yesterday ... we'll see what happens.
Add a line.
"Salt and pepper ingredients to personal taste."
It's called "The Lonely Okie"
I could say the same thing about my stuff.
Half a quart of Arsenic, 1 Old shoe lace. 3 teaspoons of Drano, 1 well worn rubber boot. stir well. Follow with a Mountain Dew chaser.
Sorry I'm SINGLE I don't cook. I drink.
I'm putting in my dad's recipe for a Manhattan ... If KrayonZ wants to submit a fav cocktail (something you have to mix, not just a case of beer chased with a sixpack ... ;-) then I'm all for it. BTW: Stan Lee turned the book down because of scheduling and Doug TenNapel and Barry Windsor-Smith had issues with the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund ... (so I signed the latter two up for next year's edition).
