Thanks Beata! I'm really jazzed you guys are enjoying them. If you think THOSE boobs are big, I actually did a further photoshop edit on them to reduce their... gregariousness. Yes they definitely defy-gravity, but if I flopped them down while she's on her back they might screw up her established silhouette as it were.
And yeah, the Facebook page is not very viewer-friendly at all. But it's Facebook and it reaches alot more people. I may just start a Cork blog though. Bigger images, clearer, easier to navigate.
I will be doing the casting for the Cork movie this weekend.
You should give yourself some outlandish Facebook fan base goal. Stan Lee size. Is Cork gay for instance? Does she want to marry the Hamster? What does she want?
Very good pay off. It took both strips to give it complete gag status. Nice change up.
Actually Tom, I didn't reuse any panels. They were both drawn individually. I don't like the look of a blank panel on the original art. It's just me being obsessive.
Thanks Ellis, as always, for always posting. You're the first invitee to the Cork movie premiere. Beata second. Then a plethora of supermodels (one or two male ones for Beata), then MAYBE towards the end of the 2nd act I'll let Tom past the barricades.
Hey, the Cork facebook page says it is a "closed" group. Shouldn't it be open so every fan of big boobed wood sprites can find bliss. You had to invite everyone to join the present group. Maybe if it's open you could start thrusting it on a larger audience. Get that snowball rolling down a steeper hill.
Cork is really terrific... You've done a splendid job with it and I'm very happy that you've found your own very unique "voice" with the strip. Also, it is so refreshing for a humor strip to actually be funny.
I'm not sure if I'm ready to open up the group yet. I will, but the whole cartoons out of order thing in the photos section is pissing me off. I want to see that fixed. Or I have to create an entirely new page where I treat it as a person, not a group formed from a person's page. Then I could control the order. PLUS Cork is supposed to 'premiere' so to speak on a new website called 'slushpilecomics.com' soon and if I put it out to the world on Facebook the website will be several weeks behind.
Rick's suggestion re: the FB fan page is actually a pain in the butt in your situation because every time you add an image, you first have to delete the rest and then make sure you upload from newest to oldest. It's only easy if you do it just once with a finite number of images ... and, well ... none of us want that!

I'm LOVIN' this stuff, Scotty!
Despite the fact that Cork has gravity-defying boobs.
Oh, and I much prefer viewing Cork on this blog rather than on Facebook. They appear bigger here. Your drawings. Not her boobs.

But gad, they are big.

bigger ....
bigger ...
... images ...
And it really does speed up your production when you can occasionally use the same art for a couple of panels.
My goal was to use the same art for an entire week's worth of strips ...

Keep it up funny boy!
As always, I'll get in on my press credential ...

You want that Group box to say..."This is an open group. Anyone can join and invite others to join."
I think Opening The Group is step 5 of the "12-Step Facebook Program ..." hee hee ...

Keep them coming!

Any solutions to my dilemma people? Ideas?
Hmmm... tragically, I think the only solution is to wait for the website strips to catch up to the Facebook ones.
Perhaps deleting the pictures and re-loading them in order will fix the order issue...

Anyone else get a Northern Exposure vibe from this strip?
Ha! Interesting. I can see where you might. Except Northern Exposure never had the threat of blood-sucking monkeys rolling through town.
Heh... Northern Exposure is my wife's all-time favorite TV show! If Northern Exposure was a cartoon, it might very well look something like Cork.
