I always dig your draftsmanship Rick. The edges and space turning in the figure and the clothes. Buckle planes. I also like the colored pencil appearance modeling. Do you do that on another layer?
yup. highlights on one layer and shadows on another. Something new for this guy was a "blush" layer on his face... I think I will be doing more of those. There's also a slight layer of flat color inbetween the backgound and the guy... and a blured out drop shadow around the figure.
Yes ma'am. All Photoshop... right before my graphics card started acting strangly. Now my screen displays all streaky horizontally... it does the same thing with my wife's monitor, so I know the screen is okay. I can type just fine, but it would be nearly impossible to get a decent image off of the thing.

Looks great! I really like the background. Did you do all of this in Photoshop?
