My table mate said that if my doodles filled a full 11 by 17 page, the result would be great. Good way to spend the day on a slow day. But not great. Just more doodles.
It was called Amazing Con Marty. A rolling road show of a comic con. I think it always features Rob Liefeld, so he must be a promoter of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWAk8hsJds4 I did a walkthrough
Gray wash from the kuratake brush. Badger black airbrush pigment watered down. The black is the same deal only not watreed down. No pencils. It was all just the wash, then I added a few dabs of the black. Planned to use more gelly roll white but decided not to. So I am as good as these doodles.
The Con was pretty much a bust. Cost me 50. I maybe made 15. But I always dig cons because they give you the run of a place you couldn't afford to be in otherwise. Fun to be Downtown, goof off.
The biggest improv moment on the doodle was at the feet of Batman leaning away from the building. The black brush dropped a big black drop right at his feet. Had to spread it less destructively about.

Hey! That's great! Are you doing a Con today? Oaf Con, perchance?
Your page is real cool. You could develop this as your shtick..."The Big Doodle." I love it!
Your table mate was right. I love pages full of doodles. The more diverse the better.

Thanks for the doodle enthusiasm. Again, my strength is always the rough, never a 'finish.'
Did you erase out construction marks and guide lines for our benefit, or are you just that good? Gray marker?

"...or are they just that good?"
Really came out great.
