I like all the structure. Very big deal to have that draw through that you build on top of. You have good design ideas. I think you need a little more quiet here and there among the noise of the detail.
Yeah, it gets a little too busy at times. Most of this is just working on the design aspects, what works, what doesn't. All an experiment in letting things just go late at night when I do these. Most of the time I get bored and that's why most are unfinished but that works too I guess. Yeah that waxy color pencil works well but if you use too much build up, jacks the image.
Good that you do find the time to do these in spite of all the other stuff. It's kind of therapeutic I find, don't you? Early in the morning or late at night, all alone, to be able to just let stuff flow out. You get into a meditative state and time disappears, problems disappear.
I love these ladies you draw, Jim. I would love to see the sort of environment they live in... they look so ornate... it would be fun to see what the throne room of these regal ladies looks like.

Yeah Tom, therapeutic for sure. Late at night, all the problem people asleep. Quite. I like the time between Midnight and 3am.
Looks great, Jim!
Thanks Ronnie
