Love the book. It should jump off the table at the con.
I think "sketchbook" is one of the most popular type of pubs going at cons these days.
This has that in spades plus a little sequential storytelling.
You were right about the color Rick.
It printed just the right amount of darker.
I'm with Marty on being surprized by the size.
I was visualizing the 6 by 9 I'm showing in my example.
I actually prefer the smaller size but it's a minor quibble. After you've had any potential profit in the coming months, offer it as a free download. I think almost all my lulu books have a free download option. I'd like to monkey with the PDF and get my own copy to fit the 6 by 9 size.
Nothing more exciting than having a book featuring your art in your hands.
Thanks Rick.

Nice sketches Ellis!
Thanks Tom. Been an up and down week for my Mom. Kinda glad I'm here.
The waiting room's no fun. I hope yr mom see this drawing--she
s sure to feel better after a dose of GOODSON WIT!
...and the sketch dump is great! Love the baseball player!
Lulu billed this as the "Comic Book" size, so that's what I went with.
hmmm. I thought I commented but don't see it. Must have missed the all important publish button.
Just wanted to say that I put a Tank Girl comic right on top of the TAG Sampler. Exactly the same size.
So definitely comic book size. I just like the other size myself. Digest size. Archie Comic special size.
Creeple was a fun little strip. What were the specs of your PDF? Was it at 150 dpi?
It really is compelling to have a new pub containing your work. I've looked at my flawed little piece a dozen times. Really makes me want to fill up about 50 pages with my own stuff.
Rick, you really have to do a pdf of your Near Sighted Tale strips. Great stuff for Lulu POD.
Mine didn't ship until yesterday. I'll probably have to wait until Friday to get it.
El, y're right--it is inspiring!
