Been working on some Cramps drawings lately (I know, another bash at early American punk-esque). Came up with this one as a congratulatory opus honoring a friend's 18th wedding anniversary.
No need to push my post around to the top. Great drawing. Saved that. I just happen to be watchinga great version of Frankenstein. 2004 miniseries with Donald Sutherland as the icebound ship captain at the end. I'll do a sketch! That's what I'll do. You've officially inspired me Marty.
Had to google Cramps to find out what you were talking about. I learn a lot about music from your drawings. You've been very productive with the sketches lately. Or is it just that you've been hanging out on TAG more than usual? Anyway, talent such as yours deserves some kind of far-flung public showcase Marty. How are your various projects-in-the-works going?
I have been drawing a lot more lately. With us moving back to Irvine (did I tell you this? we are), I'm trying to get one last burst of drawing/comic projects finished before I leave, hence my online fecundity.
I'm loathe to enumerate projects that may or may not get done--it's so embarrassing! But tip-top of my list is my TAG comic book story! (I am counting on a Tom Moon entry!)
The other thing that's top of my list is making a brushpen roundup of Portland's visual diversity. I've only got another month or so here, and I can't decamp without the makings of a Portland Sketchbook (to be self-published and sold at our T.A.G. Comic Book Table for the year 2013).

Oh, dang. Just saw Tom had moved Ellis's post back up to top. I'll push this one down.
And hey--happy Tuesday.

Yuck. Not happening. I'll just watch the show.
@ Ellis: Ha! I been there, brother!

So yeah, working it, baby!
And thanks for the kind words!
Awesome work, as usual, Marty!
