Cool horse. Got some rhythm going.
This was decent. Old enough that the most recent topics were the Wachowski's Speed Racer. But a pretty good look at Anime. And how gradually it has permeated everything. Live action movies as well as cartoons.
I was listening to KOGO and heard that a young mortally wounded man was dropped at Dennys late Tuesday night. They gave the address. I thought, "That's TAG Dennys!" We would have been there 15 years ago. Yeesh.
Sucker Punch=Bad. FF was invented for movies like this.

How awful about the stabbing death! He was just a kid, too, 18-20 years old ...

Thanks for the link. They went on quite a run with him to get him away from the crime scene. Looking at it on Google maps you realize that intersection is built with perfect cloverleafs for splitting in any direction. I wonder how many times that Denny's has been robbed.
Re: Sucker Punch ... what does "FF" stand for?
I didn't see the film, but my bro Peter loved it.
Fast Forward. It has its insane asylum settings and it has fantasy game violence settings. The fantasy game violence was very well done. This takes up about 25 minutes of the film interspersed at regular intervals. If you can take the other hour and a half of the insane asylum story those game cgi parts are in, it's OK. I needed FF. I was really glad I was seeing it this way instead of a theatre. It was kinda like if Cabaret had every character be given a chance to be Lisa Minnelli or Joel Grey.
