Hey ... thought I should start looking up tutorials on color work and begin developing a strategy.
I'll finish this in the coming week, but thought I should share a bit.

Nice work. Shaping up solid.
I'd say don't go too blendy for edges.
GunNose is very 2d so the 3d blendy edges might not match the style as well as turning edges with light , middle, dark color choices to make soft edges. Maybe experiment with that.
