I think I've got the big shapes right.

Should have looked up reference. That was the whole "gag." Missed it on several important overall shapesMrGoodson2https://www.blogger.com/profile/02329640961760572269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19949517.post-89851680058409306992013-10-22T10:15:19.683-07:002013-10-22T10:15:19.683-07:00Love the last one...did his mecha-deer lose its he...Love the last one...did his mecha-deer lose its head??

The massive centipede is great, too. Well, they're all great. Is that teleported demon experiencing anti-grav on his medallion? Or did you just scan it upside down?

Love it all!! But yeah--start a new thread. Give each image its own impact.Davis Chinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16168954208679712542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19949517.post-88931618476297579212013-10-18T09:08:14.529-07:002013-10-18T09:08:14.529-07:00The edits were cool to do and may guide me to a wo...The edits were cool to do and may guide me to a working style I like. Make a spontaneous, fun(hopefully) drawing. Then revise and improve as needed.MrGoodson2https://www.blogger.com/profile/02329640961760572269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19949517.post-84283229912537936812013-10-18T09:07:13.796-07:002013-10-18T09:07:13.796-07:00Oh yeah it's much improved. But I self imposed the rule that as much as possible it come straight of the brush onto the page. Connect a fist to what the rest of the pose will be. The extra background werelion was an afterthought and klunked as an integrated element.MrGoodson2https://www.blogger.com/profile/02329640961760572269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19949517.post-1889194136457235912013-10-18T08:06:58.165-07:002013-10-18T08:06:58.165-07:00Oh my gosh I love yr cherubs!! I...Oh my gosh I love yr cherubs!! Those are great!

I didn't mean for you to revise yr drawing based on my advice...but do you like the head direction better? I think it improves the drama a wee bit, but then that's me....Davis Chinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16168954208679712542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19949517.post-30827095842626600682013-10-16T19:23:45.892-07:002013-10-16T19:23:45.892-07:00You're right. The head would be 100 percent better looking directly at the target. I may try and do my Edgar Allan Poe strip as Inktobers. That way it will get done. Has the advantage of the preliminary composition, idea work, done.MrGoodson2https://www.blogger.com/profile/02329640961760572269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19949517.post-38917378748522872852013-10-16T12:17:36.000-07:002013-10-16T12:17:36.000-07:00...tho' I wonder if his head direction doesn&#......tho' I wonder if his head direction doesn't read a little like he's looking at the sky...? I see you modified it a little between the two, but I wonder if the last little thing this drawing is missing is that visual lock between the two creatures?

Nice drama anyhow!Davis Chinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16168954208679712542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19949517.post-45673075755797477622013-10-16T12:15:42.033-07:002013-10-16T12:15:42.033-07:00love it.
